About

I’ve lived a lot and learned a lot about many things. Not enough to be great at any one thing though. This blog includes archives going all the way back to Summer 2007. Even though it says Archives are only back to 2008, if you go through the categories you will find older posts.

This blog will include funny stuff, tech stuff, helpful stuff, expressive stuff.

professionaldilettante.com: During Spring 2009, while I was between jobs, it occurred to me that I’ve learned a lot about many different things. But not enough about any one thing to be great at it. And to be able to get paid to do it. At that point I realized I’d become rather proficient at learning about something, doing it as a profession for a bit, then moving on to learn something else. Just sort of going where the road takes me. Hence, the new blog name.

No change in content. Same youtube videos, late night rants about adult swim’s brilliance, random irreverent commentary, and nerdy programming stuff one would expect from the pedantic lexiphanes I’ve become.

Yes, I know no one reads this stuff. It would indeed seem that I pretty much write for myself, wouldn’t it. I figure in the year 2030 or something people will refer to their blogs as scrap books and photo albums of sorts. Records of life and such. Of course, given the world is likely to be drastically different by then and perhaps, dare I say, without internet or databases, you gotta back that stuff up if you don’t want to lose it!
